Systems Data Controller
Williams Grand Prix Engineering is continuing to invest in its operations and parts management capability, and we’re excited to announce another role that will be critical to the success of our future F1 car programmes.
We are seeking a Systems Data Controller to join our Operations team, reporting to the Business Process and Inventory Manager. If you are interested in how an F1 operation works, and in particular using an ERP system to manage parts, then we would be interested to hear from you.
Our F1 operation is built around delivering a series of complex projects to quality, time and budget. Projects range from race specific developments to full car programmes, involving input from a wide range of business functions.
The System Data Controller role ensures that data relating to parts is accurately set up and maintained within our ERP system – for example material type or out-sourced processes. In addition, the role monitors the ERP system interfaces with other systems in order to ensure data consistency, working with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders from different functions, the role is also well placed to assist in defining new operating procedures to deliver continuous improvement in our operational performance.
What we’re looking for:
Experience working in an ERP or production management system
Analytically minded and methodical worker with strong attention to detail
Process oriented and able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills
Ability to establish good working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functional areas
